Sleep lines

Thursday, August 21, 2008
Dear sleep mask,

You help my nightly slumber. You block out the light because I'm too lazy to buy curtains to cover the mini blinds. And, because I can't decide if I just want to buy all new furniture and a new mattress or stay put with my curret stuff. Do you see my decorating dilemma? But can you please not leave marks on my face well into my day at work? Coworkers notice these things, point them out and laugh.

Thanks,
Allison M.

Does this mean the mask magically reappeared from it's time away from your night stand?

No! I had to buy a new one. I made the mistake of picking up this teal silk one that doesn't completely block out all the light. Only me. But, it still works.

I absolutely ADORE my sleep mask, but only allow myself to use it on the weekends. I have a hard enough time waking up for work.

My favorite mask is from Brookstone. It's pricey, $25, but worth every penny. It's made from memory foam! Almost like taking a bottle of sleeping pills...
