This has been four years in the making and he has finally decided to replace his spectacles with two new pairs. I can't tell you how long I've made comments about these lovely glasses. The BF even nicknamed them the "pewters."
I mean, look at these things?
I think he's had these since 1995, don't you?
They sit crooked on your face and the once clear nose pads aren't so clear anymore.
Now. If we could only get rid of that chair with the leopard pillows.....
....and alarm clock with the lamest sticker NOT added by me.
RIP the pewters. You won't be missed.

Ha, I think every girl has a "list" of these items once moving in with her significant other. The good news in my case is that he goes to work before I do, and I secretly throw things out on trash day! Hehehe - don't tell.
Ha! I've been trying to get rid of my husband's sweatshirt with the cuffed sleeves since I met him. :)
Oh good god. You should see my bf's glasses. So thick and horrible looking. He refuses to replace them because they cost so much (which granted they do) and he says he wears his contacts most of the time.
How the heck did you convince him to get a new pair??
I was the proud owner of some pewters until last year. Now i have some pretty cute thick black glasses w/green inside. They cost me about 300 bucks w/insurance.
Those pewters dont look so bad after that. Eyes are expensive. But not as expensive as eyes on that movie "repo men"!
Wow those are freakin old school.
I laughed out loud when I saw those guys (lovingly). Those are OLD SCHOOL. So what were they replaced with?
