Avoiding words with "s" in them

I feel like I'm 13 again because I decided to get another retainer to fix some minor (and I mean minor) teeth alignment with my bottom front row.

Look, I have a teeth thing. Without the braces I received years ago, I never would have had a chance of having straight teeth. They were coming up from my gums in all sorts of weird angles. (We can blame my dad for the horse teeth and my mom for the small mouth.)

After seeing my dentist for a routine visit, I explained how that tooth is bothering me so after the gross and quick teeth molds, I have  a new retainer bringing me right back to 8th grade.

Now, let's just hope I don't throw it away on my lunch tray on accident once or three times.

Case makes it official.
Can you spot the retainer?

P.S. I don't remember the pain being this annoying. Here's to a month of wearing a retainer.

Happy weekend!

Update: Want to pull it out after 6 hours of wear. OMG, it's going to be a long month.

Good for you for getting it. Try having actual BRACES in your mid-twenties like I did. It was not awesome. But now I faithfully wear my retainer EVERY night. A retainer is WAY better than braces.

because my life revolves around TV, this reminded me of the episode of sex and the city where miranda got braces. good for you! That's the responsible adult thing to do! =-)

I can't see it. And I've never had a retainer, so I can't really imagine how much it sucks. But GOOD LUCK. I hope there are no S's in your future. ;)

I still wear my retainer after no braces for 10+ years. I only have to wear mine at night

I probably should have had braces and a retainer but I never had....my snaggle tooth shows for it :)
