adventures in babysitting

In case you aren't aware or brand new to the blog, I don't have any kids but lots of my friends have kids under 3 now. Some are little and tiny infants and some are toddlers. All of whom I've never actually babysat but visited with for hours on end.

On Sunday, my friend and I spent a good portion of our Sunday funday hanging out with my other friend's adorable kids, drinking margaritas and "watching" the kids while their mom put each kid down, one by one. Shame on me but it was my first time meeting Presley in person and she is already 10 months old! (I know, I know, I'm a bad friend but at least I got to meet her before her first birthday, right?)


After the rain let up, Jagger needed to get his butt outside so we played a little game of "open the door and shut the door."

Licking the glass, completely OK. No fingers were injured in this door game.

Presley's face is priceless, "Really? I'm left with you while Mom is putting Jagger to bed."

Disclaimer: Keep in mind I wasn't completely left alone with any one child at a time but I could have handled it if I was. I think. Their mother, plus my very responsible friend, were there the entire time. Kids are a lot of work - I'm not sure how all you moms do it.
