Well, I can't fool you guys - there is no more BF which is why I haven't been writing about him.
Would you like know what happened? I bet you would :)
Am I going to share it on here? Hell to the no. Ask one of my close friends for all the juicy details.
But you own a house? Yes, yes we do. Lesson learned, my friends, lesson learned.
I've learned a lot about myself and other people in the last few months and received some of the best advice from my family and friends both online and offline. I also learned that my Dad reads the horoscopes everyday, which is just hilarious and odd in and of itself if you knew him in real life, and texted me one morning with '"Read your horoscope, it's spot on."
It reads: "You might need to do something very different from what you originally intended. Others seem very awry, encouraging you to walk in a different direction."

I'll be back online in a few weeks (you won't even know I'm gone!) with a new look and name - Confessions of a CLE Habitant. You like?
I hope you continue to read and follow along on all my new adventures because I can assure you - I'm still the sort of funny (or at least sometimes I think I am) and witty girl without that little boy.
And just THINK of all the funny dating stories I'll have to share.
Editor's note: The funny thing about the truth is it always has a way of coming out, when you least expect it and when you need to see it the most. :):) :) kisses

Sorry to hear this. Sounds like you've made some tough decisions, but ultimately the right ones for yourself. I don't doubt you'll love your new home and have amazing stories to keep telling! Good luck!
I was wondering if something happened when I saw your moving picture on Instagram. Good for you - I'm sure it was a hard decision.
And I love that you're moving downtown. Seems perfect for you!
I love the new name! Times like this are always tough, but it does show you how amazing your friends and family are and how strong you can be. I think downtown will suit you just nicely!
Absolutely love the new name! Sorry you are going through this but it sounds like you have the perfect attitude to get you through it, not to mention, it's going to be so much more awesomer on the other side ;) Can't wait to hear all about the awesome new digs! ((hugs)) my friend!
I too love the new name. I am excited to hear all your new stories about your dating adventures in Cleveland. And decorating.
Oh, and some Gossip Girl parties. XOXO.
What? OMG. I was wondering but didn't want to say anything. Enjoy your break but I want details one of these days. Hope all is well.
Oh man... I was wondering too when I saw you posting something about moving downtown. I'm really sorry to hear about the break-up. It will probably be quite some time before I hear those juicy details... I'M BOOKING YOU FOR HAPPY HOUR ON MY NEXT VISIT! And as someone whose blog has been changed to fit around various relationships, a change in blog (and life) -- and writing about it -- will do you good. :)
*hugs* from your Pittsburgh friend.
Sorry to read about your break-up. Good luck in your new adventures! Hope your future is filled with happiness.
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo!!!!
Cheers to exciting new adventures! I'm glad you are going to finally be in a territory neutral zone. Can't wait to tailgate next weekend and have more girl dates.
Even if it's the right thing, I know going through a breakup sucks -- I'm sorry you're having to deal with that. But, moving downtown sounds right up your alley, and Confessions of a CLE Habitant sounds more your style :) Good luck with the transition.
So sorry to hear about the breakup. However, it sounds like there are many exciting changes ahead for you! Love the new name too!
I'm sorry lady, but looks like you've got a lot of awesome things coming along and I know everything is going to be a-ok.
Also, I did not drop off the face of the earth and have been keeping up with your blog all along. Looking forward to your new bloggy digs and best of luck to you lovely!
Love you Allison!!
So sorry to hear this - but loving your optimism & outlook. I will, of course, keep reading. Enjoy your break, reboot as needed, & we'll see you soon in your new space!
Way to go girl! I had a similar experience, hardest thing I've ever gone through, but best to find out now than later. You are beautiful, stronger, and wiser because of it!
Sorry to hear about that :( Sometimes you have to do whats best for YOU! *Happy Thoughts*
Love the new name! can't wait to hear about your downtown adventures!!! ***Hugs***
Hope the next few steps in your direction are smooth sailing. Hope to see you out and about and tailgating soon!
yowza! Breaking up is hard to do! But what I love about reading this blog, is that you have continued to live your life, and move on. Sure, it isn't always easy, but you are the only one who knows whats best for you, and I wish you all the happiness in the world for your future!
p.s. as the only other person outside my family to have visited Folley Beach....I feel a kindred connection! Yes, this is the best kept secret, and my future husband Edwin McCain can sometimes be caught performing impromptu on the "edge of the earth"!
Breaking up sucks. I understand more than you probably know. But there's always something fabulous and shiny waiting around the corner! xoxo
I love the new blog name and cannot wait to follow you on the next adventure. Love you lots girl, thinking of you
You'll love that Phil alerted me to this post - finally a benefit to the two of you being FB friends! Love the new blog URL. You are handling this beautifully, and I'm so proud of you. Just remember that everything happens for a reason. XOXO
love you!!! you got this. xo.
Wishing you all kinds of luck as you embark on your new adventure. Sometimes life takes crazy turns, but I truly believe we end up where we're supposed to...and stronger for the crazy turns we survived. All the best!
I'm singing the Mary Tyler Moore theme song. (If you're too young to have even seen it in reruns, I'm happy to come and sing it to you.)
can't wait for the new blog friend! good luck on the move and the new adventures. sending hugs and love and glasses of wine your way (well really a glass of wine is waiting for you the next time you're in town, haha).
SO excited to see your new blog - thanks for continuing to be so honest and open about your love life. Looking forward to following your downtown adventures - I just moved downtown a few months ago and LOVE it!
Ugh, breaking up sucks no matter what the circumstances but it sounds like better things are ahead! Hugs, and can't wait to see where you go next!
Take your time. Take care of yourself. We'll be here, when you get back. Looking forward to your return and learning a little more about downtown CLE. Which, currently is, you know, I know pretty much nothing about downtown CLE. So, YAY :)
Times like this are tough but it sounds like your going to be back and better than ever after this.
Good luck girl, you'll be a better woman without the boy anyway. And I'll be anxiously awaiting your return.
Can't wait to see your face more in CLE! And where the F were you on Saturday night!?!
Sooo... I feel like a REALLY bad Confessions Subscriber, because this post has been up since Sept 19th, & this is the first time I'm reading this. Can't wait to read about all of the "new's" in your life. You rock!
That sucks Allison.
Time to work your mojo-Party with your pants off.
But glad to have you back in the saddle.
