There's nothing quite like coming home to your own familiar space after traveling for a few days.

With my new gig, we have offices all over and one in NYC so I headed to the big apple for a few days. I absolutely love everything about the city - the noise, the constant beeping from the cabs then seeing Ellie Goulding outside of Bloomingdale's strolling through Soho and wishing I asked her to take a photo. (I heart her album.)

On Saturday night, I joined friends out in Ohio City wearing the least amount of layers possible because I refused to believe it was only 40 degrees out. (Really, Cleveland - pull yourself together and get into the low 60s already!)

Since it was the last Saturday of the month, my friends have become absolutely obsessed with making it to Touch for old school hip hop - it's quite hysterical actually. Don't get me wrong - I'm a huge fan but only until a certain time of the night because it gets crazy crowded in that little basement. Plus, I have ADD and can't sit still or stay at one place for too long until I need to move on to the next scene. But, on the flip side, I'm pretty sure I lost a quick 5 pounds from dancing and sweating all night long.

On Sunday, I ran around on the east side to check off a list of purchases and returns in preparation for this week's activities. My favorite? A few new bold new lip choices for spring.
