Your February = planned

Somewhere about now is where it starts to stay lighter outside longer and I long for Spring to come but we are still a few months away. February is hopefully the last month of winter for Cleveland and if today is any indication of the weather we can expect, bring on the snow.

Let's get it over with now and then let March slowly warm up so we can have a legit spring season filled with light, soft colors and more trenches than I know what to do in my closet with in April.

Until then, here is your February calendar of events to sign up for to get your through this snowy month.

If you haven't been to a Scene event yet, mark your damn calendars because United We Brunch was absolutely amazing on January 24. It had the potential to be overcrowded and unorganized based on the sheer volume of people, but it was the exact opposite  - I didn't wait more than 6 minutes for a mimosa and was able to sample so many great brunch items from a bloody mary oyster shooter to pomegranate blueberry mimosa from Press to this foie gras french toast from Lago.

Vodka Vodka - If you aren't attending Jump Back Ball, I recommend you hit up this Scene event at Hot cards in its second year. It's a vodka tasting event - what more do you need to know? General admission tickets are $30 (includes 10 samples, glass and limited apps) and for only $10 more you get in an hour early. More vodka for you!

Jump Back Ball Shop Nights - If this is your first or 24th Jump Back Ball, you may not know about all the hard work that goes into creating those props you take selfies with and the other the decorations around the theater. You have 9 more times this month to volunteer to help and you don't need to have any design skills - they are letting me help after all.  And if there is an absurd amount of glitter on anything, you know who caused that glitter explosion.

Cupid's Undie Run - There's nothing quite like running in 20 degree weather in your hot pink bra through the streets of Tremont. So, the question is, why aren't you signed up for the 3rd annual Cupid's Undie Run on Valentine's day? There's a heated tent with people in their underwear. You don't even have to swipe right with this - just walk right up to the person and ask them out. Register here for your tickets for $55 and support the Children's Tumor Foundation.
